At this present time I'm really feeling like I want to be detached from everyone.
I feel like every person we come into contact with at any time we are in an energetic connection with them.
Energies are exhanged and it's not always an easy flow.
If you listen to people you can see what they think about, their life experiences good & bad, how they view the world, their background & their energy. You can glean so much.
I find it a bit overwhelming sometimes.

You sound like you have the symptoms of an empath (especially if you feel the pain of others). Are you familiar with this? There are ways to shield yourself e.g. via visualisations. I am also an empath but do not feel so exposed to the energies of others; I feel it is up to me whether I 'zone in' and experience their energy or not. I can flit in (get their measure) and flit out again with ease.

Sounds familiar.
Have you read The Celestine Prophecy books? Whilst not the best written, the model they describe for viewing people and interacting with them is very enlightening, and certainly allows us to see how we act and react around other people. If you haven't read them (or at least the first book) then I'd recommend it just for putting a model around what you're experiencing, e.g. people's control dramas and how to deal with them.

🙂

Being aware of energies around you is not a blessing if you cannot handle them. It is a nightmare, if you are overwhelmed by energies around you.

First and foremost condition of people dealing with energy is to hone the capability of allowing energy to flow. Allowing All energy in its various frequencies, shades, textures and feels.....not just mine, not just the feel good ones, not the ones I recognise, but the whole spectrum of energy that plays

How does one allow?
To be able to have no judgement of various energies that you can feel as good bad, positive negative, right wrong, but as a pure play and movement of pure energy.

It is all pure energy....pure movement. More open heartedly you allow, more quickly It passes, if there is no inner narrative about it, it passes most smoothly and promptly. In that case it uses the carrier as a flute. Energy often has a Horrible feel to it if we have resistance to it.and ok-ish if we can be more allowing.

Gunkiest of energy is still pure energy, if one can learn to stay open to its movement. It passes. Often leaving one light free of a burden

Second, other people's energy....my energy...there is no such thing other than pure movement of energy.
There is one soup and in it we are all simmering in it. Energies mingle, cross.....over time as mind matures, the mine-thine is sucked out of this equation. It is seen as what is, rather than mine versus theirs....

Also, mind is more engaged with narrative about others, it is unsettling as it is. It can put the blame on others but it is unsettled in looking out.

Other is hell....

We create 'the other' and the hell floods in with that separation.

That's interesting. I see what you're saying that there is no separation. Everything is just flowing or in the flow.
Our bodies keep us boundaried from each other and the exposure to this planet - but our souls are all connected and probably merge somewhat plus all the energies.

Put it this way if someone starts getting narky or nasty, screams or shouts at me initially I start to feel upset, possibly with tears coming out.

I shouldn't be this effected and it shouldn't bother me - other people's emotions. It's too over-reactive.

Have you always been like this or is it only recently?

You may be interested to take this test

There is a forum for highly sensitive people. I could give the link upon request.

If I look through events of my life I can remember times when people have started shouting and it has upset me.
Not all the time though.

Sometimes in the working world co-workers / bosses have started attacking me because they're either bullies, enjoy the power or its just how they are as people. This has made tears come out and upset me but not all the time.

Your work environment sounds stressful which would make you more prone to becoming emotional. You sound a bit run down...do you have a good diet? I am wondering if you might benefit from a Vitamin B complex which is an established nerve tonic.

It's beneficial to offset such harsh working conditions by other aspects of your life, i.e. socialising, relaxing, having fun. Is your life outside of work enjoyable?

Did you do the test in my last post (# 8) or did it not appeal to you? It might shed some light on your condition.

Well, if you read the Celestine Prophecy, you'll understand what it is.
In brief (too brief without quoting the entire book), it's the way different personalities within people are used to try and take control of situations (or rather to take control 'over' someone else)

Yeah I do focus on other things in my life.
I've noticed other people with stressful working situations.
Yeah I'm about to do that test. Thanks for recommending it.
