RE: Why cant i be certain ???

Thank you all very much for your replies:)

I think its great that you all believe, but a thought has just come to me......When i talk to people about these things,i always say.."oh i dont want to see a spirit,it would be to scary"

So in saying that i am probably preventing my proof from being seen(I watched lots of horror films as a child and i think it has made me very frightened person :D)

I think you could be right in saying im stuck on "needing proof". I watch programmes on the paranormal and i start thinking this could be true.......then along comes a scientist who says its loads of rubbish and then i start thinking oh maybe it is.

I think this is a great place and you all seem like lovely, kind people.

Perhaps i might stick around........and get my proof;) :):D:D

Hi. There is no proof. The only 'proof' is your own belief. It's what you feel in your heart that counts. If you think about it, if somebody could give you that proof, it wouldn't really make losing a loved one any easier would it?

I think you should concentrate on the here and now and enjoy the time you have with your mum. Worrying won't achieve anything and really, you aren't going to get any proof.

Lots of people believe in an afterlife but they never actually see anything to confirm that. If it brings you comfort to believe that your mum will go to a better place and be reunited with loved ones then believe that.

I have never seen anything, but it doesn't stop me from having my own beliefs that there is surely something much more out there than us here. I don't lose sleep over it though. We aren't here for long so we might as well make the best of it and enjoy it while we can. It's natural for you to worry about losing your mum, but please try not to get too wound up about it and make up your own mind about what you think.

I've always felt that if you are lucky enough to have a lovely parent then yes, losing them is painful, but you can't take away what they gave you and the contribution they made towards you being YOU.

I hope that helps, please stop worrying too much.
xx

RE: Why cant i be certain ???

I have been privileged enough to sit in some physical circles and have witness many things that have in my mind confirmed that there is a spirit world.

I also have been to many mediums and séances and never had anybody come through to me that I have known, because I think that nobody that I have cared about has passed.

I am reading your post and my heart goes out to you because I can sense that you beleive if you know your mum is going to go on to another place it will be easier for you both....

However my concern is that you have found yourself caught in trying to find out something that you might not be open yet to embrace...for yourself. In this search for knowledge time is ticking by and precious moments are being clouded by this search.

Some people go for readings for answers and help with their life direction...others might feel a bit lost and want some sort of confirmation..or proof. It saddens me to read that you feel you have wasted your money. Sadly there are so many people out there making their living out of giving snippets of informatoin to their sitter, which in some cases, might not even be relevant and can leave that person more confused. I have personally been involved with helping people resolve upsets because of devasting readings that turned out not only be be inappropriate but also inaccurate

All readers should carry out their work in a responsible manner and remember that often people come to seek help and advice when feeling quite vulnerable. I might be psychic, intuitve, channel etc..although firstly I am a caring person who has been involved with helping many people with their emotional healing.

What I see here is someone who really loves their mum, although your worrying seems to be getting in the way of you being you. If you can make special times with your mum now, these will create special memories of the future. As long as you feel love in your heart for your mum...that will always be. If you or anyone else has loved someone who has passed over...just thinking about them and sending out your love can make a connection. Having experienced love in this lifetime...you can continue to give this out and share this very special gift to others.

In time.....you will find out for yourself the gift of mediumship....for now this is your time to live....and enjoy the gift of life.
