If anyone has any advice will be appreciated.
I always have read tarot cards for people I don't know at all. I find this alot better as my own knowledge about their character and life situation etc doesn't have a chance to impinge that way.
My cousin has asked me to do a reading for her. I have agree but am feeling quite nervous as I feel I just know too much about her to really let the message of the cards through.
Is there a secret to this or should I just not be doing a reading for someone I know??
Hi there Queensmeadgirl
I have moved your post from general discussions over to here, due to the nature of your request.:)
To answer your question, perhaps you could treat her as a client rather than a cousin as i've found this does help the 'emotional detachment' process. If you feel uncomfortable though, then i would say it would be best not to read.

Hi
Its always difficult to read for someone you know and I'd follow what Calla Lilly says by treating her as a client. Don't jump to conclusions and presume that you can relate the reading it to a situation around her. Its her cards so say what you see even if you are stating the obvious. Let her confirm the cards as you may not know fully what is going on. There's a difference between being nervous and been uncomfortable, if you feel uncomfortable then don't do the reading, wait until you feel more comfortable with the situaiton.
Goodluck.
