Does anyone here read Mah Jong? I am investigating these cards as I love the I-Ching and they use similar markings, just wondered how they compare to Tarot that's all, 🙂
Hello cascara,
I used to read with these a long time ago, beautiful cards but so many! I wonder if we are using the same ones, will check later who produced mine 🙂
Totally different from Tarot but very meaningful and they can give some very astute messages.
Good luck with them!

Thanks 🙂
I think the main difference is that there are only 34 cards in each of the 4 decks plus the 8 guardians? so 144 in total. I wonder if one used 2 of the same tarot deck and they were shuffled together it might give a similar view?
Thanks 🙂

I don't really think the Mah Jongg cards can be compared with Tarot, it's a very different system...in my eyes 🙂
The cards I have used are The Fortune Tellers Mah Jongg, illustrated by Amanda Barlow, book written by Derek Walters.
