Hey all

Following on from using angels during healings, I'm being increasingly called to do readings. I've kinda always knew this would come and am now ready to step up my game a little.

I was wondering what kind of techniques you all use to do readings for someone who is not present, distant readings. Currently, I cleanse the cards and focus on the person asking what guidance he/she needs. I understand it's a personal thing and there is prob no right or wrong, I'm just curious as how you do it.

In love, light and abundance x x x

Hi Showgirl

I try to concentrate on the name of the person... follow my guided information and then pull a card (or however many) from the pack I feel drawn too. More often than not, this backs up my initial thoughts.

I love doing readings online as emotion from the other party doesnt cloud your judgement, however you miss out on the affirmations that you are on the right track (well I do) so less sure how far to follow the information given.

Enjoy practicing, accept feedback so that you can grow.

Remember - no one is perfect!

Blessings to you

Hi Showgirl

Haven't been on here for an age so I'm not all set up yet, but saw your post and wanted to reply. I give tarot readings, mostly on line, because it just works better for me. I also use Angel cards to reaffirm the message of the reading - gives another twist on the message which can both clarify and illuminate.

I find I slip into the "right place" more easily in a "Client not present" situation and can pick up information and, ironically, their energy more clearly.

I work very simply, just read the request from the Client, ask to give the best to them, and start turning cards paying particular attention to intuitive guidance. I never read the same way twice. Sometimes I may do a full layout, other times I will turn over 3 cards and get all the info that way. With the Angel cards I do a similar thing, but never do a layout as such - just 4 cards.

Just like Tarot, it helps to pay particular attention to how the cards are arranged - which one came first, does a card appear to be directly related to another one or are they adjacent etc. Hope that helps.

Take care. 🙂

Hi Showgirl, I must of missed your post, sorry:o

I mainly use tarot cards with angel cards but like you say, it's a personal thing & everyone finds what works for them through practice, what I tend to do is sit and focus on the person, I always feel the need to know their full name & Date of birth to help me do this, I keep my focus on them as I shuffle & then I ask my guides to help me see the messages that the cards are showing me, I then ask my angels to help me to translate the message and pass it on for the persons highest good,I then ask my angels to connect with their angels to help bring forth any past blockages, reasurance or confirmations that the person may need to hear right now...it takes me quite a long time lol

Ask your client to choose their numbers between 1 and the amount of cards in the deck you are using. Then ask your guides and the clients guides to come close. Shuffle the deck thinking of the persons name. Then if the client has chosen cards 1, 5 and 17 for example. Count those cards out and read them in that order.

Or ask your own guides which is the best way for you personally to do it.

Blessings
