Hi everyone,
I had the most bizarre and vivid dream that i have ever recalled last night and was wondering if anyone could shed any light on it?! It goes as follows.................
I had been taken hostage in a glasss oil rig out in the middle of the ocean, not sure by who or why but i had been there a long time, I could see everyone and everything going on around me, at some points in the dream i could see land and what was happening in the world but at other points there was nothing to be seen for miles around. Once a year people i knew i:e Family and friends were allowed to come and visit me on one specific day, I did not get to choose who these people were but there were no limits to numbers and everyone got to choose if they wanted to see me.
On one visiting day the first people to visit me were my Mum and my Daughter, my mum was as she is now but my daughter had aged by about 13 years (she is at the moment 7) There was no emotional greeting, they just sat down opposite me and started chatting about everyday life, After they left my sister in law came in with my neice who again had aged considerably and once again a 'normal' conversation was held and they got up and left. Then a close friend of mine came in with Kim Cattteral from the sitcom 'Sex and the city' and My Grandad (who has been dead for 17 years) I held a long conversation with my Grandad and then my friend gave me some jelly sweets in a pack with an A4 sheet of paper attached printed in bold yellow and black explaining how many of these sweets i was allowed, highlighted at the bottom of the sheet was a section about if i ate too many of these sweets it would have a 'stoned/high' effect on me. My friend and the actress then got up and left and my Grandad stayed for ages talking about my life and their old house.Then he left too.
Next in was a man named John who is the Dad of a very old friend of mine who i now hardly ever see and as he approached the table i woke up. Throughout the dream i could see many people in the room waiting to come and see me but now i only remember the people i actually spoke to.
Sorry to have dragged on but it is very rare for me to remember any dreams let alone one this memorable, weird and vivid!

Hello, clair, very interesting dream, do you have any fears as to age, growing older, or maybe are you spending time on your own alot. Do you miss certain people that were part of your life.

Do you feel as though you are sometimes on the 'outside looking in to life' as though you want to be closer to people but seem to miss the connection?
Maybe your Grandad made you feel a bit special when you were younger and you are missing that closeness?
Are you looking for a closer relationship with your mother (or maybe feel it would not be possible). Do you feel you would like to make sure you don't miss out on the relationship with your daughter before she becomes independant?
