Maybe it is a house from a past life you are visiting or a house you are yet to move to.... just a possibility or is it that you feel you need somewhere of your own in which to escape to from time to time - lots of people have gardens or cottages which they go to during meditations... it's kind of a safe bolt hole.

I also have visited the same house in dreams. It is an older house, the ' two up,two down, old fashioned house that was fashonable years ago.
I am always placed in the front room where I have met relatives and friends who have passed over.
I don't know this house at all but think it must be some kind of meeting place in the spirit world where I am taken to meet relatives.

Frequently 🙂

For me, though, dreams about houses are always about my Self. In standard dream symbolism a house (whether it be one that you recognise from the physical or not) represents yourself - for example, finding new rooms in a house represents finding new aspects of yourself (growth), if the house is being burgled that can represent your boundaries being violated in some way (a clue to an issue that you need to work on).

For you, dreaming of a house may follow standard dream symbols or it may mean something else. I learned about standard dream symbols when I was at university, and a few of them (like the house one) resonated with me so now my Higher Self and guides know to use that meaning for me. Other symbols that crop up in dreams for me have highly personal meanings that don't follow standard dream symbolism.
