Hi
Ive had a couple of really vivid and odd dreams recently. I dont understand them and wondered if anyone could help me interpret them?
The first dream; two nights ago, saw me noticing that the house next door to my semi had been sold and that my neighbours had moved out without even saying they were selling, much less saying goodbye.
The house was now having new furniture delivered and the young woman who now lived there
I saw her clothes quite distinctly
was busy sorting out her new home.
Then I was walking back to my house from an errand, and met the newcomer on the same path. I felt it was important to introduce myself to her. She seemed pleased to make my acquaintance and was happy to walk with me into town where I was able to show her where all the shops were and introduce her to many different people.
The end of the dream came as we parted company at my gate and we each went into our homes.
The dream sounds fairly unremarkable; but I was left with palpitating heart and acute anxiety. I seem also to be able to remember it quite clearly even though it was two nights ago.
The second dream, last night, saw me on a deserted beach with my two dogs, both died several years ago, but in the dream they are full of life and fun. We run and run together and splash through shallow sea and generally have the sort of fun we used to have when they were both alive.
At the end of this dream, I wake, with a pounding heart and a feeling of terrible anxiety; I woke many hours ago and it has stayed with me, quite vividly.
I have no idea what to make of either dream.
Id be most interested in anything anyone could input.
There is a belief that a house in a dream can represent your Self. So with that in mind maybe you are welcoming back part of yourself (the younger girl). She hasn't moved in with you yet but is close by! It could be that you are making some changes at the moment in your life, or thinking of doing so, and these changes remind you of something about your younger self that causes you anxiety. Maybe the dream about the dogs also relates to being younger and just reminds you that it was fun as well!
Thank you for responding to my posting, It has given me something further to think about.....
