Hi there, hoping someone out there can help me, i keep having quite bad reoccurring dreams and wondered if there was any meaning to them?

I had quite a bad one last night which awoke me. I am playing hide and seek with my son in some woods, i go into some bushes to look for him, then i find i can't get out no matter how hard i try to force my way through the bushes. It's not dark, or light either (just like when you are in woods during day time really) there is nothing creepy happening it's just i can't get out of the bushes.

Any ideas anyone?

No, not at all. The fact my son is there has no relevance, as sometimes it's my other son in the dream and sometimes no one at all. Its the being trapped amongst the bushes that un-nerves me and wakes me.

To me, I would think then that as you feel it relates to you - are you feeling trapped in a situation at work or at home or within a relationship, or anywhere else for that matter?

It is very difficult to interpret somebody else's dreams, I believe that the person who had dream needs to look at the dream, look at the symbology, ask themselves questions and then find the answer. For instance - if I see the colour red, to me red is beautiful and vibrant and alive. If hubby sees red, to him it is a colour of agression and tension. Therefore, he can not interpret my dream as what I dream has meaning to me as it comes from my subcincious. We both skydive so if I was to have a dream of falling through the air, that would be exciting and wonderful - for somebody else that would be a total freak out. Hope that explains what I'm trying to say.

Take every bit of your dream, every colour, every little bit and see what it means for you. You can even meditate on your dream. Go back to the dream, pretend you are the bushes and ask what they represent or what they are trying to tell you, go back to yourself, ask why you are feeling trapped, go to your sons, ask how they feel within the dream.......

Hope this helps a bit. Alternatively you will find many website where dreams are explained, you could try to find one of these sites. To me though, I wouldn't try to interpret any dream that way.....
