I dream every night and have always had very vivid and sometimes disturbing dreams.
Ever since i moved into my current home nearly nine years ago i have been having recurring dreams about dead bodies being buried in my garden and over the last few months I have been having a recurring dream, practically every night, about dicovering a baby buried in a box in my garden.

These dreams are very disturbing and the one about the baby is particularly distressing, its got to the point that i am dreading going to my bed.

I am due to get some building work done over the next few months which will mean digging up some of my garden...I really hope there isn't actually anything there!!!

Anyone got any idea what these dreams could mean?

Thanks!

RE: Recurring nightmare

Hopefully, your dreams aren't literal! 😀 Just kidding ... I'm sure they're not. In any event, here are some symbol explanations from my little dream book:

Recurring Dreams: Like a movie rerun, there is a message you are not seeing. Recurring nightmares mean that you have not dealt with a particular fear. Recurring fence or barricade dreams mean there is a limit you imposed upon yourself that you have not yet recognized and removed. These are most important to write down and work out. Once you get the message, they will stop.

Body: Your expression of self in a time-space world. A masculine or feminine body represents that particular side of yourself; child's body is playful, intuitive side of self. Vehicle for learning lessons while on earth plane, so important to keep body healthy and strong.

Death: The old is dying; make way for new beginnings. Life is a process of death and regeneration into higher awareness, the old dying off in order for one to continue to grow. As blossoms die and fall from a tree, the tree continues to grow and change. Each little death actually strengthens the tree, for these are essential to total life unfoldment.

Burial: Death of old emotions and attitudes no longer needed for your highest growth. Death of fear and insecurity. Also, hiding from life, burying aliveness, emotions, and sensitivity.

Baby: New birth within self; new aspects coming into being, new beginning. Openness, untapped potential for growth.

Box: The games you set up, little realities you create, limits you impose upon yourself. One endeavors continuously to break out of boxes and expand vision.

Hope that helps. 🙂

RE: Recurring nightmare

You're welcome! 🙂

lol ... yes, that would be scary if they did turn up some bodies in there, wouldn't it?! [sm=speechless-smiley-040.gif]

There was a woman who lived here in Northern California who was charged with murdering her tenants and burying them in her backyard. She was using their government checks after they died, and that's how they caught her. They never did charge anyone else in connection with the crime, but one would have to assume she had help, since she couldn't have buried them all by herself! I think she was in her 70s. Anyway, it was creepy to see on the news how they dug up all those men in her backyard! [sm=eeeK.gif]

I'm sure your dreams are purely symbolic, though!! However ............ if they're not, be SURE to post here and tell us ALL about it!! Haha ... just kidding! ;):D

RE: Recurring nightmare

Creeps me out the thought of there actually being anything out there!

Jeez how long was that old lady bumping off her tenants if they caught he in her 70's!?

I've been writing down details of my baby dream and in the dream it is insinuated that the baby is actually mine and in the box along with the remains are a pile of letters, photographs & a locket.....
