I have a recurring dream that I am in a house that isnt mine, I think a house that my family and I have newly moved into (in the dream), and one of the rooms I cannot go into.
In one version of the dream it was the entire top floor that was the problem (a different looking house in each dream btw), I felt such an overwhelming presence that did not want me there. It was so powerful it was almost as though every piece of furniture was straining to fly across the room at me.
In this latest dream it was my sons room. A presence was there but not as strong. I felt it willing me to leave (I hesitate to say evil but it would be a similar sort of thing), I would feel sick and the longer I was in the room for the sicker I would feel. Then one day (in the same dream) a black cat was in the room, sitting curled up in the middle of the floor glaring at me. My son walked in, (none of the family can sense what I do in the dream) and the cat rolls over to let him stroke its belly all the time watching me. Then the curtains blew out (there was no wind) and I woke up.
Any ideas?
I had another one last night so if anyone has any light to shed it would be most helpful.

A house is seen as something solid, stable and secure something that one wishes to own and know its not going anyware.
A place of comfort and normality,a place of own safety.
Yet to see a house become disruptive, untidy,a feeling of not belonging or being unstable can often refer to the current worries of lifestyle or current conditions of life at this time in ones life.
If this is the case once things settle around you, be it personal, family,work that is unsettled at the moment one thing quite out standing , your dream house(pardon the pun), will be calm again and fade from your dreams.

Do you suspect someone close to you is being unfaithful....or disruptive
To dream of black, denotes disharmony.
To dream of a cat usually means there is treachery nearby...maybe a friend, someone you have trusted for a long time...because the cat rolled over for you to stroke it's tummy.....someone very close to you.
The furniture being ready to fly, and the curtains moving without help....is how.... YOU... are feeling inside, deep inside.
It could be that someone is unwell, someone close to you.Someone you find difficult to speak to.
