Last night I had a very vivid dream and would like some feedback if possible!
I dreamt that I was taken to see a house by a woman Estate Agent. The house was on a corner of a road and it was about four stories. The garden was all overgrown and the white paintwork on the walls was flaking. The window frames were made of ornate metal that had been painted a dull sage green and I remember thinking how many windows there were! As we walked up the path to the big old front door the Estate Agent mentioned that the house had been built by a famous authoress many years ago (who wrote crime novels!!). For some reason my cat Gabriel was with us and ran into the house as she opened the door. She said she had another viewing so would be on her way but someone was inside to show me around.
I was met by another woman who seemed surprised that the Estate Agent hadn't come in with me. At this point there was a commotion coming from inside from barking dogs and hissing cats, obviously they were in resident already and Gabriel was being told his place. I followed the woman into a very large hall that was arranged like a youth club/coffee bar? There were a few youing people there and one boy in a wheelchair and they were listening to music on a jukebox system. Just past the coffe bar I could see a passage that led down to the kitchen. It looked all in sepia/brown colours. The whole place had an air of neglect and would need a full refubishment!
I wasn't taken any further but was aware there were a few more floors above us and more rooms on the ground floor. I then woke up.
Now, I know that buildings in dreams can represent ourselves etc but am stumped as to the relevance of the authoress/coffee bar/my cat being there and the boy in the wheelchair. Also, why ornate metal window frames in green????
I promise I hadn't been drinking before bed lol.
Can anyone throw any light on this for me?

Hi Reikiangel
I often get weird and wonderful dreams, I would deffinately say that the house in your dream represents you and your life right now, the colour green always means healing to me, the four stories could be your conciousness, not sure about the dog barking and cats hissing but I would think that you have been asking yourself a question and you are trying to work out the pro's & con's hence the dogs and cats. The peeling paint could be that you are peeling away layers of yourself to start on a new journey. The ornate metal window frames, I'm not sure but maybe there is a delicate situation that surrounds you at the moment.
I'm no dream expert but this has come to me whilst reading your post so I thought I would give you what I've got from it, not sure if it helps at all xx

It's a lovely dream Reikiangel and it's great that you were able to capture all the detail.
I think the authoress is your confidence and there is a plan you have in mind and that you're looking for confirmation if the plan or change in direction is the right way to go.
The coffer bar, the boy are the barriers that you've put in the way to stop you doing what you want, the nature of the barriers are interesting. Perhap you feel that you are too old to bring this plan to fruition, hence the coffee bar, but the boy is something that you are using to stop yourself and it comes from guilt.
Your cat's there because he's your spirit gardian.

Dear larimar and myarka,
Thank you both for taking the time to read my post and to reply.
I think you have both hit the nail on the head with your insights! I seem to have had a recurring theme of 'messages' for the past year and I just don't know what to do to make a change. I have been told that lots of things (including my recent health problems) are my Guides way of slowing me down from a path that may not be necessarily the best one for me and to give me time to go for what I REALLY want to do. Only recently I have twice been given the message to follow my joy/bliss, to ignore what others may think of my choices and to act from my intuition. The problem is I really don't KNOW what IS my bliss anymore.
I have started to write down my thoughts and dreams in the hope that something will start to make sense! I now have the pressure of looking at going back to work in the New Year and earning enough to cover all my living expenses as all benefit has been stopped. The sensible thing will be to get a 9-5 job BUT that will stop me building up the therapy side of the work I do with Somerset Angel. We have worked so hard to get established I would hate to let her down.
Soory to have gone on above, it just all spilled out lol!
Thank you both again for your insights

Hi Reikiangel,
You've just summed up the 2 barriers, the confidence to build the business, and the guilt of letting your friend down.
Sorry but when I saw that and I shouted at the top of my voice GO FOR IT GIRL! Invest in you and if you don't have the answers, then ask.
