I hardly ever remember any of my dreams! So it was unusual when the other morning I woke up and this was very fresh in my mind!

I dreamt that I was out walking on a lovely sunny day, I was dressed all in black and I got the impression I was a male (I am actually female). I came upon a river with a bridge over it. The water was flowing fairly fast but not too fast and it was crystal clear as I could see down to the bottom, I could hear the water flowing too. I walked over the bridge and as I got to the middle of the bridge, on the rail there was a big red button. When I pressed the button, the level of the water of the river dropped to about half and I remember feeling in awe of being able to control the water, I knew that if I pressed the button again the water would rise back up.

I'm not really sure what this means so anybody's thoughts on this one would be most appreciated:)

Hi Snagglepuss.

Dreaming of water represents our emotions and how they flow through us.
In this dream the water, your emotions, were flowing quite fast and were clear.
You felt that you were male.
This represents the masculine element within yourself which is the practical, action part.
You were dressed all in black, which again, suggests that you are not being coloured, or confused, by your emotions.
There was a bridge which you stopped in the middle of and where you could control the height of the water.
This suggests that when you stand in the middle of, and stay above, any emotional issues, you will have the power to be able to practically control how high or low you emotionally become.
The dream suggests that your male side can overcome, or bridge, your emotions if they become too much. By doing this they will then flow through you quite quickly and all will stay crystal clear as, and when, you experience the highs and lows that life, the river, brings.

Thank you for replying to that Sarah. That has made quite a bit of sense to the dream now.:)
