My sunsign is Libra
My moonsign is Pices
My ruling planet is Venus
My ascendant sign is Taurus
I have read a few things about astrology but am still not sure what exactly that means. For example what does it mean that my ruling planet is Venus?
I could not really get any explanation for this anywhere?
Could someone explain to me what that means?

Yes I will read up about Venus. I have read a little bit about it but wasnt sure how that was suppose to help me. I am reading a book at the moment called "Healing with astrology"
It is quite complicated for me as I dont know anything about astrology really.

well, there was a time I didint know anything either, so my suggestion would be to choose one planet and or sign at a time and study it, familiarise yourself with it, learn some of the key phrases and words associated with the panet and sign.
You can make it a fun game
eg what do you know already about Venus where do you notice venus -type people showing up in life
even finding out more about venus and her energy will be healing for you as you will automatically be allowing more venus into your life
