As Pluto has just entered the sign of Capricorn I thought it might be a good idea to look back in history and see what happened the last time Pluto entered the sign of Capricorn.
Well I did just that and found out that in the 1770's the USA was born - that was when the Brits were defeated and sent packing. I visited Boston this year and it rekindled my interest in history - I remember from my history lessons way back hearing about the Boston Tea Party - now I learnt more about the War of Independence on my sightseeing tour.
Well astrologically speaking this means that the chart for the USA has Pluto in Capricorn, so at some point in 2022 Pluto by transit will return to the place it was at the birth of their nation. How has the most powerful nation in the world dealt with power?
Individuals and countries that have Pluto in Capricorn or in the 10th house in their chart have been learning how to establish their authority within society
There is likely to be a strong desire for a position of power and status, this carries a huge responsibility with karmic repurcussions. Capricorn and the 10th house also indicate our highest aspirations and this is determined by the quality of the soul - wise souls have been born with this placement e.g. Paramhansa Yogananda who had Pluto conjunct Neptune (a refining spiritual quality) in Gemini in his 10th house - whose powerful spiritual teachings crossed boundaries of race, culture, religion and society.
I attach another astrological website which explores the passage of Pluto.

I love synchronicities..and here is one...have just received an email from someone who mentioned Paramahansa Yogananda, which arrived moments after reading an article about him where he questioned his Gurus advice about wearing an astrological amulet to fend off imminent astrolocial 'bad vibes' and here is the third reference in under an hour..spooky or what.
Think I better get myself to the London SRF meeting on Tuesday, especially as I had a dream about him recently..plus I have mars in Capricorn as part of my soul's purpose aspect, so Pluto will sure be doing his thing for quite a while

ps, I loved visiting Boston last Fall and doing the walking tour too!!
Hi Tigress,
I see in your post you mentioned Mars in Capricorn being part of your soul's purpose aspect- how did you come to that conclusion (I'm being curious). What are the possible spiritual interpretations of Pluto transiting Mars. (This is coming from one who has Mars conjunct Pluto natally.
