I just wanted a little advice from anyone who may know about a female cancer/male libra partnership... do they ever work long term? :022:
my first bf was a libra and I was a cancer....my best friend was a libra...i don't know any in-depth stuff, but i think they are compatable....(even though me and bf are not still together lol - that was not down to mis-match sign/personality, just stupidity lol)

Astrologers when they look at whether two people are compatible compare the two charts to see what links there are between the planets, Sun, Moon and moon's nodes.
Traditionally water signs(Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces) are compatible with other water signs and earth signs (Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn). Air signs are compatible with other air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) and the three fire signs (Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius).
Having said that astrology is a complex craft - the mix of elements (Fire, Earth, Air and Water) is important because we may have the sun in Cancer, but may also have many planets in air signs. So all of the planets have to be taken into consideration not just sun signs to assess compatibility.
I would always go with how you feel though.;)
