Came across this on Facebook 🙂
I'm using this at the mo as my FB profile picture. Been waiting months to stick it up on the 21st
The circular calender in the picture reminds me of an Oreo biscuit 😉
But all jokes aside. Each to his or hers own, but life is still the same. It has it's ups and downs, "good" periods and "bad". Potential for change is always here to be tapped in at anytime. You can make any thing you like out of anything. Alignments and "cosmic" events are just human-made preceived associations. If it helps to aid someone to a deeper state of conscious, all well and good. But why wait for spiritual fads and fashions?
To me 21/12/2012 is one of those spiritual fads and fashions. As far as I understand, this 2012 business came from Terence McKenna. In a nutshell he had a drug-induced "vision" where he modified the maths of the Mayan long count to coincide with 21/12/2012. So all this 2012 stuff is an industry developed by westerners. This why I'm not bothered by it. I'm not going to base my life on a prediction by the rantings of drug-crazed author in the 1970's.
Life being ironic, at least the Mayan Prophecies has brought to the intention of the world that the Mayan's still exist in central America. They are fighting for their human rights against goverment and corporate forces. That's hope justice will prevail and the Powers-That-Be will stop exploiting these people.
It will probably be as eventful as the Millennium Bug!
I think even less so! 😀
Pssst... Daz, it's "Charis" not "Claris" 😉
Hahaa Well spotted Gilies, Sorry Claris 😮 I mean Charis 🙂
