please help!! everytime i have sex in a certain position, legs over shoulders, i have severe abdominal pain similar to period pains but worse it gets to a point where i just have to stop altogether. is this just him hitting my cervix or is there something wrong? should i go to my gp? does anyone else have similar troubles?

It is important to know if you have any discharge after sex , especially blood after sex.
It is always a good idea to see your gp and have a check and exclude dangerous problems and have a pap smear (check your cervix)
But if it is only one certain position- it could be muscle spasm (when your inner muscles get very tense incertain position only). Don' t do it than.

The weight of your partner pushing into you from that angle is probably the cause. Your pelvic girdle will be crushing into your abdomen and squashing your internal organs. If you get discomfort from more than one position, without the weight of your partner pushing into you, then you should seek medical advice. Perhaps a rest from any activity to allow your internal organs to recover, they may be bruised, would be a good idea.
