Hi there, im not sure if this should be here or in pregnancy so please feel free to move.
I am ntot pregnant that I know of, my period is a full week late adn it is usually on time and certainly no more than a day late usually due to my own miscalculations. Anyway I have no symptoms of either period or pregnancy other than tender breasts, I have done 3 tests over the last week and all have been negative....

Im now starting to get very worried and due to being in Northern Ireland and the july dates her I cant get to a doctor till late next week so Im wondering does anyone have any ideas whats going on here? I have 3 kids already and all tests were done even before my periods where due those times so im not the kinda person who needs bloodtests to prove pregnancy.

thanks
Paula

Hi Paula

I don't know what age you are, but are you in pre-menopause it can start from early 40's. A friend of mine had a period in January then nothing (she was regulary 28 days) her periods restarted in June. The dr told her she was pre-menopausal. She had no other symptons.

Best wishes
Jane

Still not happening? A bit more context here might help. For example, is NI home or are you on a trip? Anything else unusual been happening, eg at work, home etc. General health all ok? How's the digestion - any constipation or diarrhoea? Pimples on the chin or jawline? Left or right?

Could be, single pimple either side of the chin sometimes tells a story. But when one thing changes then so must something else, it has to. Could seem trivial, or not; new lodger, start of summer holidays, skin cream for inoccuous patch of eczema, gravitational pull of raindrops on another continent, who knows - need a consultation to get to grips with it. Sometimes dunking feet in hot water can kick-start a late period, as long as you're sure you're not pregnant, but really need to know why. I suggest visit your favourite holistic practitioner.
