Hi, has anyone had really bad pain just in one breast?
i had it the other day and now it is back and have had it all day, it feels really painful.
thinking about going to the doctors, but don't want to waste there time
:eek:froggy, To put it delicately could you have slept on it? That may explain things. Is it possible that you might have a blocked milk duct? Around that time of the month I suffer from painful boobs too and get a great help from Evening Primrose oil or Vitamin E capsules. Better get it checked out.
i used to get pain in one too and read somewhere that cutting out the caffience helps - it did for me....but make sure you give yourself a good breast check regularly and do visit the doctor if it's unusual....
Check your bras also especially if they are underwired.
When I worked in a breastcare clinic often the women who came with breastpain (after examination) were told it was the underwires that were causing the pain.
Just a thought....but if pain persists get to your gp.

Hi Froggy
I agree with Patchouli
I've read just recently that tight bras stop the drainage of lymph and toxins from the breast tissue, and are often the cause of cystic breasts. If that is the case, then do avoid underwired cups and tight bras, and if you do wear them, then when you undress massage the surrounding area well to free up the drainage.
Watch out for any unusual lumps or distortion to your breast shape and if discovered, see your GP as soon as possible.
All the best

You should never worry about "wasting the doctor's time" - they are paid to help you, that's their job.;)
I think some really good suggestions have been given. I would definitely go and see your GP, and don't let them fob you off - you know your own body best, so make sure they understand your concern. It may be nothing, but it is best to have it checked out.
