Hi...last night and today I have had lots of stomache/chest pain. I have felt really sick and have been using a hot-water bottle to try and soothe it. I have just finished my period (I had period pain for the whole week I was on, which is unusual for me).
I am still a Virgin but I have a broken Hymen (I think) due to an accident I had as a kid. The thing I have noticed is an odd smell down below. It smells like the stuff hairdressers used to perm hair. Normally it is musty smelling but this is odd and is worrying me. I have underactive Thyroid, a gall bladder problem and Fibromyalgia...I don't know if these are causing it or not.

Sorry to hear that you are not feeling too well. I would pop and see your doctor, or the practise nursejust to put your mind at rest.
'Down there' should not smell at all, least of all of perming solution. I am not an expert in these matters, so I can't make any suggestions as to what it might be. Sorry I can't be of any further help. I am suggesting the most sensible thing that I can think of to do.:)

hi zenfrog76, i would go to see your gp asap, i dont mean its any thing serious, its just that it needs to get soughted, and the best direction for you i think would be your doctor.

Go to the doctors NOW, if you use tampons you may have toxic shock, which needs treatment, so don't mess, get there now, if they say "we can't fit you" tell them to send the doctor out to you",if that fails take yourself to Hospital, how so ever, it is important you go now.

I use pads rather than tampons (never got the nerve up to use them)...it is too late today but I will try and get to doctor tommorow. Stomach pains seems a little better now but I have a terrible stiff/ache in my neck.

Hope it goes well at the doctors. The pain sounds like it could be the gallstones playing up so definately get checked out! I have them too so i know just how painful they can be. I spent 16 hours in absolute agony before my boyfriend dragged me to A+E when i spent 4 days in hospital with them! If your in a lot of pain, phone a doctor or go to the hospital, its not worth risking it.

Hi...I havn't been to the doctors yet. Feeling really drained at the moment. I also received a notice about my pre-op (I could be in before christmas).
Everything seems ok (down below, I mean) but I will mention it to the doctor when I go (possibly Monday next week now)
