Hi Brian

These guys used to sell them (www.virgincoconutoil.co.uk) but say that you get such a small amount per capsule that you'd need to take 6 to equal one tablespoon, which isn't cost-effective.

Because you've posted in the Skin/Hair/Nails forum I'm not sure if you are wanting to take VCO capsules internally, or use it topically? Either way my suggestion would be to consider buying the VCO in a tub. If you are wishing to take capsules because you don't like the smell/taste of coconut then I can fully recommend the VCO Higher Nature brand, which has no coconut smell or taste. [Personally I like the smell of coconut, but I bought Higher Nature VCO cos it was on sale at the time.]

You may be interested in looking at what remedies there are for VCO in Earth Clinic. They suggest all sorts of uses. Fascinating reading!

Hi Brian

Coconut flesh is white, and so coconut oil derived from it is white. So, no, coconut oil is not bleached - white is just the colour coconut oil is. I gave a link to Higher Nature in my last post. If you have a wee look you'll find out all you need to know about their coconut oil. You can email them too - they are a good company and reply quickly.

ITS BAD i ve read

If you are worried that coconut oil is bad for you then, well, I guess the right thing for you is to not buy/use it. I love it, and am quite happy with it. But I'm certainly not going to pressure you into buying/using it. Just do what you feel is right for you.
