Hi
I have had a problem with spots on the top half of my back since I was a teenager and I always thought it was like other spots where you grow out of that stage. I don't getthem anywhere elsebut still get them all the time on my back. Does anyone have any idea how I can treat this or prevent it happening as it gets to me and I'm always careful to wear tops that cover my back or have my hair down so that they are not noticeable.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Many Thanks
Sara
RE: Spots on Back
Hi again!
I have just found another thread about a similar problem and a lot of people were saying that they have found spots have cleared up in the past with going on the pill and also by using sunbeds - do these make a difference?? I used to be on the pill but came off it in December and the spots don't seem to have come any worse or better really. I would try the sunbed thing but am wary about all the warnings that go with them as i have very fair skin.
I did think that they could be caused by sweat as they seemed to intensify when I started going to the gym to lost weight and I did have a few in the centre of my chest as well, but I always shower thoroughly so don't know if this is a factor or not!
Thanks again for any advice
Sara
RE: Spots on Back
Hi Sass,
Hope your well?
I wouldnt recommend the pill or sun beds to clear up your back, have a look into treatments at your local salons?
I offer a BACK FACIAL treatment at my work which is ideal for conjested backs such as yours.
Good Luck

RE: Spots on Back
there's no harm in using a body wash (like neutrogena) with salicylic acid in it...that might help.:)
RE: Spots on Back
Hi there
I find using the regular Buf Puf sponge (it's an exfoliating sponge that you can buy from John Lewis, some Supa Drugs, and some Boots) does the trick. I just use it with Dove soap, and it works a treat. It'll take about a month to clear your skin.

RE: Spots on Back
Sorry if I wasn't clear. You use the Buf Puf as you would any sponge... and add soap and water to it, lather it up, and give your skin a gentle scrub. Use it every time you have a bath/shower.
RE: Spots on Back
be careful with your hair products as they can cause problems if not washed off you back in the shower, id advise you to get a loofa and/or a body brusher and use them on your back after you wash your hair also go for some back treatments as a good exfoliant and mask will really help.
best of luck and i hope your problem clears up!
