Hi everyone,
A freinds son (14 ) has just been diagnosed with Pigmented Purpuric dermatoses also known as Majocchi's Purpura. It is like bruises that older people get, purple ones. I am just wondering if anyone else has come acrooss this and does anyone know anything that may help as the doctors have just said he just has to live with it and the poor thing is heart broken as he has it all over his body inccluding arms and legs and he is not looking forward to the summer. Thanks 😎

Hello, sorry to be so late replying but just came across your post.

Something that reduces the pigmentation associated with bruising is the essential oil Helichrysum. An aromatherapist will make up an oil for you, or you could do this:

Take 2 teaspoons of grapeseed oil, and add 2 drops of helichrysum oil. Mix them together and rub gently on the bruise. You need to do this regularly - probably 3 times a day. Don't be tempted to use more helichrysum: less is not more, and besides that it's on the expensive side!

Hope this helps
