I am new to this but was wondering if anyone cold help me 😮
I took a pregnancy test on Wednesday night and it came up negative, I then took another first thing Thursday morning. I watched the colours change over and nothing happened in the first minute or so, so I just left it assuming it was negative, however whenI went back to the bathroom an hour or so later there was a very very faint positive sign, the instructions say that no matter how faint the line is, it is still a positive. I checked the one I did on Weds night to see if that had changed but that has stayed negative, I realy really don't know what to think, has anyone out there had this happen?? The thing is i don't knowhowfar it wasinto the test when it changed?? I am really really not sure what to think.....please help

The pregnancy tests pick up on a hormone which you produce when pregnant. In VERY early pregnancy or if your urine is very dilute, there may not be a significant enough ammont to be detected. Morning urine usually has more concentration of hormone + that extra day may have made enough increase in levels.
So basically whilst you can get false negatives (due ti insufficient hormone concentration) you do not get false positives - if the test has picked up on even small ammounts of the hormone then you are pregnant!!

Thanks for your advice, I know I should do another test but I am to afraid in case it is negative, I didn't think I wanted another baby ( I have a 3 year old) but after this I realise I really do want another baby. I'll keep you posted, thanks again x:)

hiya seren,
just wanted to say it took me 5 tests to get a positive 1.so its prob hormone levels that has to do with neg tests another option is to go to doctors and get a blood test or urine test .
