Hi Eternal Essence

Trying and not succeeding for a year is no fun. I did, as a healer, once help someone in your position and it turned out there was stuff she needed to say - an issue from the past was blocking her. She conceived naturally soon after.

I'm mentioning this to you as something that may, or may not resonate with you. If it does, it's worth giving yourself the opportunity to speak, to release. It's great that you use healing and visualisation - perhaps it's worth using both these techniques to go back into the past to heal and release anything that's unresolved there?

Oh, and also, make sure you and your partner build fun into your routine. Fun is fantastic for fertility!

Good luck x x x

Hi Eternal,
Sorry to hear that the fun has gone out of your life. The disapointment of not conceiving can have a long reaching impact on your happiness and contentment.
Have you tried reflexology? It puts you into a state of deep relaxation to encourage perfect balance and harmony of your body mind and soul. I'm currently working with 3 ladies who are trying to conceive and my advice is to be spontaneous and abandoned and rekindle the desire and excitement in your relationship. The incessant tests and clinical stuff kind of suppress all this so remember to keep romance alive:D
There is currently a clinical trial down in Plymouth on reflexology and fertility which is worth looking at. Theres also lpads of info online a quick google search should do it.

Reiki and visualisation are great tools. The law of attraction is a fab force.. by acting as if what you desire is already yours will bring it into your life. The universe will respond.

Best of luck with it and pm if you feel that I can help any further.

Hiya

In China and the UK acupuncture is regularly used to help women become pregnant, and can be used along side IVF too. We know acupuncture can help relieve stress and anxiety that can be obstacles to success; I often think of zoo animals that fail to breed during captivity- nature in some cases seems to put a block on fertilisation when the body innately seems to "know" that now is not the time to reproduce.

Acupuncture could help to regulate the menstrual cycle too; I've certainly seen this in my own clinic- this is usually the first step in the process. Imagine my surprise when a patient walked in and said "you got me pregnant!"- this was an unexpected result of treatment for stress and tiredness.

Look for someone with some experience-personally I'd avoid High Street clinics where the consultation takes place via an interpreter, Similarly I'd avoid Sports therapists and osteopaths doing acupuncture as they normally have a very limited training (no disrespect intended!) You can find a register of competent practitioners via the British Acupuncture Council, or by local recommendation.

Best wishes
David

Hello,

First off I want to say that you are not alone on this journey, we are now into our 15th cycle so I know how you feel

I have started to use She Oak recently. It is an Australian Bush Flower remedy that is linked to fertility and conception. It is used to nourish and hydrate the womb, while also helping to relieve any mental or emotional blockages that may be preventing pregnancy. It is available in most health shops and not too dear. I was told to take 7 drops under the tongue upon waking, and again when going to bed. You do this for 6 weeks, then take a 2 week break, then again for another 4 weeks. I have to say that I have found it has relieved a lot of my anxiety regarding trying to conceive, I'm much more optimistic about our chances now and another girl I recommended it to is now pregnant!!

Best of luck, I hope you have a bundle of joy in your arms before you know it xxx

Hi Eternal Essence

You are definitely not alone I'm afraid and I'm sure you will get lots of lovely support on here from people going through similar experiences. :grouphug:

I would also recommend acupuncture and / or reflexology. Often stress can get in the way of concieving - when we are stressed our body produces adrenalin which increases our metabolism and heart rate but decreases the blood and nerve supply to our reproductive organs - our body doesn't know the reason for our stress and won't allow you to fall pregnant if it isn't safe to do so. Trying to find ways to cope with stress is often key to falling pregnant and I find that many people try several things before hitting on what works for them.

Some of my clients use the fertilityfriend website for the tracking side of things and I believe they also have a good forum for support. From a practical point of view, go back to basics, check the dates of your cycle, check how often and when you are trying I'm often surprised at how many people get this wrong, (you can PM me if you need to). And finally, I know a year seems like forever while you are trying, but it really isn't that unusual so try not to be too down hearted! Tracey 🙂

Hello eternalessence

There is lots of information on [url]this website[/url] - all backed up by research. Look <a class="go2wpf-bbcode" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="here">here and <a class="go2wpf-bbcode" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="here">here. We were taught that many fertility problems are resolved by making sure your zinc levels are adequate. Zinc is essential for over 300 enzymatic actions in the body and particularly for sperm and hormone production. A qualified[url] Nutritional Therapist[/url] will be able to help you on this and any other nutritional deficiencies that may be impacting on your ability to conceive. Well worth a try anyway!

Wishing you all the best.
