Since posting about having Lichen Planus of the mouth and Lichen Sceloris other end, I am truly truly
fed up to the point where I have never been before. I have steroid cream for the vulva area and it is helping greatly but my mouth well that is another story, awful pain, sore, general great discomfort and there is nothing I can take! I can't sleep and feeling sick, scared stiff of it all. My goodness they say stress can be one of the causes but as soon as you are diagnosed your stress levels go shooting up. I have looked at forums purely related to this and they frighten me to death. Scared I am on a slippery slope to worse. How can I get a positive frame of mind with such constant discomfort.
Hi
Haven't followed your posts. But these seem to be interesting links as allopathic medicine has declared it incurable, the alternatives have greater insight:

If reading about the cause of stress is creating even more stress, then perhaps that should be a treatment priority.
Sorry I can't be more helpful and I hope that things improve for you.
Thank you for taking the time to post. Stress is a HUGE factor in my life for many reasons but how the heck do you control stress!!
Me personally or generally speaking??
Me personally, going regularly (as life allows, evening or a Sunday) meditation retreats, and practicing also Qi Gong (Chi Kung) exercises (teaching it encourages me to practice), have a massage/healing once a month, walk on the beach or on the moors. Listening to my inner voice and feeling the stress as a movement and just allow it to dissipate without being reactionary (which could take 5 mins or 5 days, and easier said than done, lol).
Generally, whatever floats yer boat. Meditation, prayer, exercise, Yoga, Tai Chi, psychotherapeutic techniques, self-help or spiritual groups etc. We are all different so I won't say, as is often said on HP, you need to do this or that!! I think though developing a life philosophy (which could take many forms, from atheism to pantheism) can help to allow us to being prospective and understanding in our life situations, and helps us to gain strength, energy and confidence.
Have you considered seeing a shamanic healer to tackle whatever is the spiritual cause?
Can't afford to see any kind of healers to be honest. Thanks for replies.

How do you know this? How do you know what EVERYONE charges?
Indeed there are 'healers' that don't charge or do it on a donation basis only.
And there are many self-help techniques that cost nothing.
