Something is down inside my sack on the left testicle pretty much weighing it down. Plus it is making the left side of my sack bulge out alot while standing. When I lie down it seems like if it has disappeared. Can someone tell me if this could really be Inguinal Hernia and what could happen to me?
Someone please help me!:(
RE: Inguinal Hernia? Help!
I honestly don't know but it would be impossible for anyone to diagnose over the forum, you may not want to, but I would suggest you see your gp for peace of mind, and if necessary any treatment so you can be pain free again.
RE: Inguinal Hernia? Help!
hi bunty, as gussie says it is difficult to know on a forum, i would go to see your gp. I have had an inguinal hernia now for three years. Have been very naughty, and not had the only cure--surgery, sorry but its true. why havnt i had it done??. Dont like hospitals!!! who does!!. If yours is a hernia, dont do what i did, get it done, its a routine operation, and nothing to worry about, in and out of hospital the same day, normally. You have it done--then you can tell me what its like!
kind regards mike

Thank you very much for the replies! ^_^
I know I should go see a doc and I will soon.....just a little scared. Though when you get Inguinal Hernia does that happen or could something else come down in there?
RE: Inguinal Hernia? Help!
For goodness sake! Get a grip and go to the doctor.......
RE: Inguinal Hernia? Help!
Been there, had it. As others say it can't be diagnosed on a net forum. You must see your GP. I would say that it sounds exactly like a hernia, for sure.
Hernias are simple and common. Nothing to be bothered about except ...
1. I hope waiting lists have shortened! Mine was years ago, and you had to wait over a year. I couldn't do much sport and they just get larger over time which is why to see your GP now! I think lists are much shorter now (speaking of teh UK). A few months?
2. The op is absolutely nothing. It is simple and routine and you are unconscious, though you can have local anaesthetic too. Get ready for it - the real problem is that it hurts when you wake up for a week or more, but you'll get over it.
The good news is that after the op, your diaphram there (which has burst in a hernia) is stronger than normal. 😉

Cool, thanks alot for the help man.:)
RE: Inguinal Hernia? Help!
There are 2 kinds of ops now. In the one time-honored one, the hernia is stiched closed inside you. A newer method which apparently you can be out of bed and working etc much quicker from is something about putting in a mesh. Either work but the second is better.
