Hi,
I went to the Doc the other day. I had a pain in lower abs and along the inside of my leg. All stemming from my balls.
Anyway, he told me i have a cyst, varicous vein and inflammed Vas deferens.
He said there is nothing to worry about and gave me anti inflammatories.
I feel like there is something serious but he doesnt.
Should i be worried and what can i do??

you could get a second opinion and explain to the doctor that your mind hasn't been put at ease.... you could even go back to your own doc (he should charge you less for the second visit) and get him to go through his diagnosis with you. He might take for granted that you trust him and didn't try to comfort you.
Worrying about it will definately not help so definately do something about it.
Hope you feel better soon

Hi Fossa - can't see from your profile where you are from, but if UK, you won't be charged for seeing the doc and asking for confirmation that your condition is not serious. Have the anti-inflammatories started having an effect yet? My OH had the same prob (but no cyst or varicose veins) a number of years ago - it was resolved very quickly with a 10 course of pills.

I hope you'll be cured soon, my cousin has that same condition. It is called a "sperm granuloma", and is quite common after vasectomy. It is found at the end of the lower remanent of the vas deferens tube (the one nearest the testicle) and forms because sperm still travel up to this point where the vas was disected. The male's body forms a protective barrier (ie a cyst) at this point.
