I'm considered to be one of the lucky types of people were I never got really sick from a flu or had any medical problems. I didn't even go through chicken pox but as of recent, things have become a bit strange. I had gone through a bad spell where I was jaundice (that's how you would put it?) and went to my doctor as who referred me to an internal specialist to try to figure out what was causing my condition. To date it's still a mystery. That was about 9 or so months ago maybe a bit more and had occurred after having to work 2 full months on night shift with only weekends off. Now I occasionally experience a strange feeling inside my chest (not a sharp one) almost as if my heart or lung was shifting. Reason why I mention my lung is because it feels like there's a minor amount of pressure being applied to my lungs when this happens. I can still breath normally and my heart rate remains the same except (not too sure if it's in my head or it's actually happening) my heart beat seems to falter somehow and I feel a rush similar to an adrenaline rush but only in the area from the top of my chest to the top of my pelvis. All of this only occurs when I'm lying on my side. Anyone ever experience this as well or know what might be happening? Feel free to post back or send an email to sigorn@gmail.com. I don't panic when I'm told it may be something serious so you don't have to sugar coat things for me. Thanks in advance!
Need to see your GP and get an appointment with a specialist. It sounds like a palpitation but no one on here is likely to hazard a diagnoses!
Good luck with it though!
