RE: medical trial - urgent

Can't really help you with specifics of the trial. You are best to speak to your doctor about possible side effects and how likely they are. Usually trials such as these are in their later stages, having been tested for many months or even years in lab conditions etc., before they trial them on the public. Ultimately, all you can do is arm yourself with all the facts that are known and make your decision.

As far as reflexology is concerned, I can see no reason why you shouldn't have such treatments as they will help to stablisise you. However, the best thing is to have a chat with your doctor and ask if he/she has any problem with you receiving treatments. I would then ask my client to sign a disclaimer stating that they have the doctor's permission for the treatment. However, some reflexologists may require written consent from the GP and some may be happy to treat without any consent.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Hiya

Oh this is a tricky one....as you wont know if you are being medicated or having a placebo but if you are being carefully monitored during this time then it may be an interesting thing for you to take part in....firstly ask your gp if he thinks it is worth a go and any risks you may be exposed to whilst on the trial and if there are any known side effects at the moment.

Also some therapies can indeed show an improvement in situations like this so that could change the results of the trial, if I were to do a trial then I would forgo the treatments in the interest of getting a clear picture....but that is just my opinion...

Look into your self if you feel comfortable with it then consider it, if you really are not sure then also listen to your feelings and see what your inner guidance is telling you to do...

Good luck
