Anyone have any information about relieving this condition?
RE: Fluid around Heart
Is it pericarditis? Has the condition been diagnosed by medical practitioner? If so, the probable treatment will be anti-inflammatories and anti-biotics (if it is a bacterial infection) and pain killers. If theproblem is severe, surgery may be done to reduce the fluid.
Itis a contra-indication to complementary therapies.
Things"one" may be recommended todofor "ones-self" with this condition would be toeat healthily (reduce salt, fat and sugar), don't smoke, drink plain water (and make a note of how much is taken during theday - too much can aggravate the condition)and gentle exercise once the condition is no longer acute.
(Went through this with my father 11 years ago when he was 65- it took some months to resolve, but he is now as fit as a flea and currentlyvisiting London for the weekend).
