Hi there,

First I would like to apologise if this may seem like a "hit and run post", as it is my first post here.

I have been searching around on google for a nice community who can give me advice here.

I have a tooth in the bottom right of my mouth, I see a little hole in it and its giving me ALOT of pain 🙁

And some of the front top teeth, right at the very top of them, seem to be wearing away?

My first question is, is theese top teeth a fill job?

Second, is the bottom right tooth, well, what kinda job is that?

And third, more importantly for me, im 16 years of age and im doing an apprenticeship, im sure many of you know what this is 😉 Does this exempt me from paying dental fees or must I pay them?

Thank you SO much in advance.

My KINDEST regards,
Lee Holt

Since we are unable to diagnose on this site you really should call your nearest dentist for advice. They will also tell you what treatment costs you might face, or if you are exempt from payments as you are still in full time education.

My daughter, who is in full time work, recently had a dental emergency, and via NHS 24 was seen by an out of hours dentist. He was able to xray her teeth and diagnose an infection in the jaw. He prescribed antibiotics, and also gave her some to take immediately, as it was 2am. The visit cost her £15.
As a family (4 of us) we are with Denplan and pay around £11 each per month. We have 6 monthly checkups and see the hygienist every 3 months. My husband is the one who gets his monies worth, as he has a plate and other problems.

Hi there,

Sorry I didnt reply sooner, my evening have been occupied with playing StarCraft hehe.

Ive been trying to get in touch with a dentist in the area to get information, but all the dentists in this area seem not to be taking new patients, bad luck for me :/

I really dont wanna have to live with this forever :/

Anyways, thank you SO much for you kindest advice.

Regards,
Lee Holt.
