hello

i've been suffering from very bad headache ,
alomost constant

i have always had severe headaches since i had meningitus as a child,
and avoid stong light where i can ,
i have had many scans , but inconclusive 🙁
and last year i was given rubbish for a sinus infection , it didn't work at all
as i do not belive to have one
i wear glasses ut recently had them changed ( so i don't belive its that either)

the heat seems to be bringing the headaches on more ,
so i tend to sit quiet when i'm not at work ,
and avoid the tv , as it seems to get be boiled up and the headache starts again :dft005:

i'm not sure what else to say
but has anyone got any ideas ?

Hugs Kat X

Have you tried EFT - its easy to learn and works well on almost anything. In the past I used to suffer from chronic migraines - a hot flannel worked very well. Lavender on the forehead also works well. I have notes from a workshop I used to do re headaches, will send them to you via PM.

Hi

I used to suffer from headaches.

I have recently undergone surgery on my pituitary gland. Simple, quick yet not so elegant, it has relieved alot of my symptoms.

It might be an idea to try to get your eyes checked out too. Teeth can cause a problem. There are alot of times when people have a problem and they are not aware of it.

Drink plenty of water.

My father was a wonderful man who used Applied Sytematic Kinesiology to help people. His method for relieving headaches was (and is) as follows:

Stand up. Put your hands loosely by your sides, so they fall to your thigh level. Bend your fingers only toward your thigh. At that point where your fingers are, Rolf the muscle of your thigh.... REALLY HARD. It should hurt. (Sorry). This should give you some relief from headaches.

Just a suggestion.

Hi
Just wondered if you have had a blood test for anaemia.
I had suffered from constant headaches for 2 years, had scan, eye test and various medication until a different G.P suggested i was anaemic. I was only borderline but it was enough to give me headaches. Since i have taken iron tablets the headaches are gone. I only get tension headaches now and again.
I have also learnt some good facial exercises for these as it is usually your muscles getting tense especially around eyes/forehead. If you are sensitive to the light you probably squint alot like me.
If you wan't exercises let me know, i find them quite helpful.
Also , essential balm is effective for relieving headaches which you can buy from health food shops and some chemists.
Hope this helps.:)

Hi Ilovecrystals,

That was interesting what you said about anemia. I get a severe headache every month after my period and i wonder if it could be that i am slightly anemic.

May go to my GP and see what he says.

I often find drinking more water can help, as dehydration usually shows itself via a headache. To see whether you are dehydrated - oinch the skin on the back of your hand. If it remains raised you're dehydrated:(
