So last night in the shower I was washing the bottom of my feet and the skin just peeled right off. Mostly around my toes and heel where I've had callus build-up. Now, I've been walking a lot lately. Much more than usual. I thought that might have been the cause but I'm not sure. It's not itchy, no smell, and it felt really smooth after I cleaned it off. It came off without resistance and it was just like dead skin. There's no signs of it happening again. Might just be paranoid but I would like to know if it's cause for concern.

I don't think you have a cause for concern, especially if they don't itch, smell and feel softer. Good all round.
Logically there seems to be a link between you saying that you've walked a lot more than usual recently and the skin coming off. Should this recur/persist, then it could be a fungal infection. If you are still concerned then you could enquire further by contacting a podiatrist.

Exactly
If there is no itching, then you can apply a lotion over there. You will find it much better.
