Well folks just thought I'd pop on and let you all know how my dental treatment is coming along - after not sitting in the dreaded chair for nearly 15 years - I think I'm finally over my phobia - 1st visit was the worst (obviously) – and thanks to the kind people on here, I go threw that one. However since I last posted I have had four more visits with treatment the latest being today, where I found if I kept my eyes shut I had no problems at all – indeed I’d go as far as to say I rather enjoyed it ! yes I Michael has just said he enjoyed a visit to the dentist !!!!
So a big thanks again to everyone on here who first encouraged me to go, with out you I would not have done it ! the difference now is staggering – if I can do it anyone can.
Regards and love
Michael
RE: dental fears - I think I'm cured!
Well done big fella! [sm=dance.gif]
One of life's unpleasantries, but gotta be done. [sm=banghead.gif]
But teeth feel great after & if your lucky you may even get a buz from the anaesthetic. [8D]
For years I used to insist on no anaesthetic, as that was the most painful bit, but I have to admit I have succumbed in the last few years. Probably due to a dentist I had in Richmond that rubbed the area for 30 secs or so to numb the area before injecting. This works! 🙂
When I moved back home - mentioned this in a diplomatic way to my new dentist, to which she replied - Oh yeah I read that somewhere, but I don't believe it, then wack! In with the injection - Ouch! [:@]
She was attractive though & that always helps. 😉
Ooops - I'm probably not helping here - I must away.
And.
