No idea where else to post this. 😉
I'm a bit concerned about a blood test I had in India which came up with, they say, Normocytic, Normochronic Anaemia. I don't have the figures with me as to its degree.
I've done a quick net search so can do all that. As can happen you can easily read the worst into what the net says!
Has anybody had this, and what did they do about it. It may not be as simple as taking a food or iron: there would be an underlying cause ....
Thanks,
Venetian
RE: Anemia
there would be an underlying cause ....
.. in my experience, there usually is.
Holistic therapies are generally good at recognising and supporting this.
RE: Anemia
Am I right in thinking you have been unwell recently, with some kind of infection? It could be something as simple as that which has caused a temporary abnormality.
How long are you away for? I would personally go to my gp for a second test and second opinion and go from there.
Sometimes the 'net is the worst place to do research as you can end up paranoid that the grim reaper is waiting in the shadows!
In the meantime, I would just focus on relaxing, having fun, laughing and hugging a lot and listening to any food cravings that might guide you towards what you need right now.
You know what you need and what is at the root of this; you just need to be still and listen to yourself.

RE: Anemia
Yes, both. I can see the perils of self-diagnosis through the net! Looks like I have 2 years to live, LOL.
I'm simply going to carry on and get the results checked when back in the UK.
I don't know how quickly anaemia can come on (?) but we were at a place for a week with a very restricted diet. Oooh, but a week is far too short I'm sure. I think I'll take the pragmatic approach: if I feel well, I am.
Thanks,
