Hi I already had 2 discectomys and suspect I need another with pain in left hip and numbness on outer edge of sole and pain in groin but I also have unbearable pain in my ribs on left side is this connected or could it be the way Iam holding myself because of pain
Have you tried an acupuncturist to help with the pain? Might well be worth trying.

pain is a consequence of our actions, and more importantly our habits, I hate to hear people having to resort to surgery when there are alternatives, myofascial release or trigger point pain would explain many pain patterns. however there are too many variables to consider before giving specific advice.
the system we have in place in this country goes thus
GP, pain killers and anti inflamms, referral to specialist( surgeon) and that is the flaw, they can only recommend surgery
