My names Jen , 34 yoa and Im from Wales. Just some quick history on me, Ive had bouts of sciatica for the past 17 years, radiating around right leg. Past few weeks have been horrendous - pain started in right leg, overnight proceeded to complete numbness down to pads of my feet and toes , pain then travelled across to my left leg. To cut this to short, ended up with L4/L5 discectomy with Cauda Equina at Cardiff Heath Hospital.
Its now been a week since the op and i am relatively pain free which is amazing, except for this numbness in my foot, it sometimes feels like my foot is on fire and is so uncomfortable. Has anyone else experienced this and how long does this last?
