I would recommend that you try EFT, a completely non-intrusive technique and it doesn't involve taking any drugs. Google the founder of EFT, Gary Craig's website and then type in 'back pain' or 'pain management' and you will find thousands of success stories. You should be able to find an EFT trained practitioner in your area.

Russian remedy

Hi there, I have read this thread with interest. All my family have used a device from Russia for years. It's so simple I think that is why it's so good. Basically increases blood supply to the area giving you pain and lets your body heal it's self. It's particularly good for tense backs and headaches. Go to Google and search for Russian Back Pain Solution.
I found this out after a holiday to St Petersburg and found they were used by just about everyone over there.

I tried this and it works - a tennis ball

Hi Guys,

I've just come on and caught onto this thread, something that I have used myself for a few years now is a tennis ball. The tennis ball must be a trainer ball. which is harder than a normal tennis ball, any good sport store should have one. This has allowed me to treat my own back pain, and cutting done my visit to a therapist. I have told my patients about this method and they have also found it incredibly helpful.

How it works, there is a technique called digital ischaemic pressures, which your therapist may already be using as part of your treatment. You can replicate this in a small way by using the ball. All you need to do is position the ball on the bit of muscle that feels tender, and sit or lie on the ball gently. Only increase the pressure to your own pain threshold and hold between 0 and 60 seconds, the pain can dissipate quite quickly dependent on how tight your muscles are. Repeat as often as necessary.

If this is done properly you should not feel sore but feel a release in your back.:)

I would recommend that you try EVOLUTION CHAIR. The[url] Evolution Chair[/url] provides you a completely new way of sitting and it introduces a wonderful sitting experience, keeping your body active at the time of sitting. This chair is adjustable according to the need of the user and comfortable as well. It is used on a daily basis and you will use it anywhere in your home. The best thing about this chair is that it reduces back pain and neck problems. It is also more useful to relieve chronic lower back pain.

I've used a tennis ball on the muscles around my hips, it works amazingly well. It's especially good around the Piriformis muscle (muscle under your glutes that turns the hip out) and the Tensor Fascia Latae (muscle that moves the hip out to the side).

I find lossening the hips spares the low back : )

Joint Pain

I've used a Glucosamine supplement, and <a class="go2wpf-bbcode" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="Flexoplex">Flexoplex. I had excellent results with Flexoplex, and have friends with good results from it also.
