hi, my name is mandy, im new to the forum and so glad to be here

i was wondering if people with intolerances can help me a bit...

i am terribly allergic to ALL dairy and mildly to YEAST

i'm still not 100% better. im working with a natropathic doctor fo figure out if i have an intolerance to something we seem to be missing.

i haven't had gluten, peanuts and soy in 3+ weeks.

i suffer with bad bloating in the intestines after i eat (witchin 5-15 minutes) when i took out peanuts, i felt 30-40% better overall

just a few days ago i took out rice milk, lates with rice milk, rice crackers and corn flakes. im down to eating only brown rice, cooked veggies and turkey (for 2 weeks). i've been feeling better everyday i eat, i wake up with only a little bloating (it has gotten so much better)

my question is.....is it possible to actually be intolerant to sugar?? I used to bloat like I was 4 months pregnant (its better now) that im not eating anything but simple things. taking out the rice milk, rice lattes, corn flakes and rice cakes ect. i feel another 20% better.

has anyone experienced what i am going through. digestive enzymes don't help, antiinflamm pills don't, and teas no.

how did all of you on here figure out your intolerances? is the only way elimination?

Thanks for your time, any help would be greatly appreciated! have a good night!

Hi Mandy

You seem to be in a very bad way and the fact you are limiting your foods is quite worrying as you are are missing out on vital vitamins, minerals, amino acids and enzymes etc.

I recommend a food intolerance test to my patients, from York Laboratories called 113 Food Scan. It is a simple blood test (finger prick) which is able to identify exactly what you are intolerant to and will save days, if not weeks or months of trial and error. It's not cheap at £265 but the information you receive is priceless.

If you want to be sure you have an intolerance, you can also ask for your sample to be checked for IgG antibodies which indicate an intolerance, for just £9.99. If it is positive, you just have to pay the difference in price to have the 113 Food Scan test.

It also sounds like you may have candida in your gut and a high quality probiotic with billions of different strains of bacteria should be a start in redressing the overgrowth of yeast. There is a lot more you need to do and if you would like more information on that, PM or e-mail me via the HP system.

Best wishes

Sue
