Decaf Green Tea

Yes, decaffeinated green tea does exist! Clipper makes it.

Also, if you want to go for any decaffeinated tea, go for the Clipper ones (no I'm not a rep ;)) because they don't use chemicals to get the caffeine out while other brands do!

You might be better with loose tea since teabags almost always have plastic in them.

In the tea or in the makeup of the bag??????

In the bag. There was a Which/ Report a couple of years ago. (You need a subscription to get into the Which? website, but try Googling 'plastic in teabags'.)

Clipper, when asked about this, said that "it is not a priority". The only tea company that was prepared to say they only use paper bags was Jackson's - not always easy to get hold of.

I'm (slowly!) working towards using loose tea.

Thank you Crowan. Who'd have thought it?? I've always preferred the taste of loose tea 🙂

Me too. But, of course, food manufacturers spend a lot of money trying to convince us that "convenience" and "cheapness" are the most important things in life. They wouldn't do that if it didn't work at least part of the time.

Let's hear it for loose (organic, fairtrade) tea!:)

I love green tea. I have found that it makes me urinate a lot though.
