I have been completely stuffed up, I'm not able to breath. This has been going on for about a week now. I have cat, which hasn't bothered until recently, my symptoms seems to get worse when at home. Not sure what I should do.

Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi Sarah,

One way to tell if it's an allergy or not is to take an antihistamene and if it clears up with that, you can be fairly sure it is an allergy. If it only seems to clear up partially or not at all then it's likely something else (cold, flu etc.).

Alternatively, if it's only happening in certain places, e.g. at home, what is different about your home environment to everywhere else? It's quite common for changes in temperature to cause congestion or irritation of the sinuses, and with the weather turning cooler now as we head for winter, there's a bigger change when coming into a warm house from outside. It may of course be an allergy to your cat, even if it's not been a problem before.

Hi

the most effective method I have come across to check for allergies is muscle testing - I had a few health kinesiology sessions to correct allergies and test for what else was putting my body out of whack. Check out hk4health.co.UK there's more info on there, or just google it.

I was wondering, you said you have used muscle testing, do you think it would be good for ME which I have been suffering from for 2 years. This is th first time I have heard about this and I have cheked out the web page you mentioned.

Hi Stuart

I can't think of anything health kinesiology wouldn't work with to be honest - I haven't come across anything yet anyway. I would also recommend Reiki which is very effective for chronic fatigue:

Thanks Carly, I am not very knowledgeable about Reiki but I am keen to try anything to help. I am so fed up with not feeling 100% so how do I go about finding someone to help me?
