Do you feel purpose is necessary and important? Does everyone need one?
There is not just one meaning and purpose in life, i.e. it can change as we change/grow. I have had several. Ultimately they are both subjective since glimpsing the bigger picture is not commonly accessed i.e. what we may be here for. However, I would suggest that once we are in harmony with ourselves then we may also be aligned for whatever is our higher design (if there is one).

Believe Life is fluid and excitingly changing. Each person is unique and their viewpoint is unique. Just being in stillness is very difficult for me. Living for now is it important for some. How about you?

There's a lot of that about - both the absence and the regurgitation.

You're certainly joining in. 265 posts in 4 months! You will have seen that many people join, make a post (often advertising themselves) and then are never heard from again.
As for regurgitation, I realise that hardly anyone ever changes their mind. They simply keep saying whatever it is they believe in. That's humans for you, I guess. On HP the disagreement is 90% friendly. The other 10% is unfriendly, but polite. This makes it stand out from other forums I've been on where 5% is polite and 95% is insult. It's why I keep coming back here.
I personally don't mind or expect people to change their minds, but I do expect them to discuss a topic but this rarely happens.
At least some of the jokes are funny.
