I've had advice on here so I'm delighted to be able to give some back: forget McAfee and download one of the free antivirus things like Avast. Just go for the free download and do what it tells you to. http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

hi , i have not had a pc before so dont really understand them that much i was given this pc just before xmas it is installed with internet sec suite 8.0 while checking for updates i was informed i had the old version of antivirus installed it recommended i remove old version which i did then download later version but each time i try to d/load later version all i get is a message saying that an error has occured while d/load the updates ie i called mcafee helpline they told me to remove all mcafee applications then install later version but still get same error message as before can anybody please tell me what i have to do to cure probs cheers

Some programmes don’t work on old operating systems If its is
Don’t upgrade old versions, the new versions wont work eg pdf, flash, extra
