hello all once again , im just wondering what type of music you tend to hear whilst giving massage treatment ?, I do get lots of mine from u tube , ie .. relax daily, but a lot of it is becoming repetitive and boring, can you all recommend pieces of music to me ?, something in the region of one hour long or longer I think would be suitable , , not really into zen style, , piano, waves, etc , I think its important that I stay awake, unlike my client !

Whatever you go for, make sure it's copyright free, otherwise you may have to apply for a PPL (public performance licence). A therapy centre where I used to rent a room had a licence to cover the iPods left for our use in the treatment rooms.

Over the years I have gleaned about 200 hours worth of copyright tracks.

PS - don't be tempted to add 'Hooked on Classics' to your collection. I had a treatment from a woman who had this playing in the background. It was horrendous - sadly both the treatment and the "muzac"!!!! 🙁

For copyright free music check out iChill - you can hear samples before you buy to see if it's what you would like to use 🙂

Hi there,
I own and run a music bussiness which creates Soundscapes crafted to aid in various therapies like Massage, Reiki, Crystal healing, Meditation etc.
And because I own my own recording studios, my Soundscapes come with NO PRS/PPL restrictions. So my customers are free to play our CD's in their establishments without any problems, and without the need to purchase a pricey PRS license.
We have a wide range of Soundscapes and can produce music specific to an individuals needs in our recording studios.
Hope this helps!
