Hi all!
I was planning on moving into my new place on Friday but a couple of people told me this is really unlucky. Is this true and if so why? What is a good day to move house?
:confused::confused::confused:
Hi Stardust,
I have my mom here with me and have just asked her..... She said its supposed to be lucky to move house Friday. When we moved into our first house it was a Friday and we were happy there for 8 years! When we moved again it was a Tuesday and no difference at all!! If you are ready then go for it.
Love & blessings,
Rachel
What is a good day to move house?
What ever day presents itself is a good day, IMO.
There is a part in your signature that says a lot, for me anyway:

This "moving house on Friday is Unlucky" certainly held true in our family. My aunt moved on a Friday, and within a year everyone in the extended family had been in hospital - about 12 people. So there is no way I will move anywhere on a Friday.
I don't believe there are dates to avoid when moving, but my mother consulted a feng shui expert when we moved.
Don't let yourself be ruled by superstition.
Unlucky things don't happen on a particular day of the week.
I hope your move goes well.
If you start with negative thoughts, you'll become more stressed, things will go wrong and you will blame 'Friday'. I moved in on a Friday and it was a really good day.we had all weekend to get everything sorted before the children were back to school on the Monday. So Friday is the BEST day for moving. Believe it; and everything will go smoothly. x
Moving on Friday
Exactly that's what I thought too and Friday is perfect - Can wake up Saturday morning at my leisure in my own place 🙂
Actually someone else said to me today that if you move on Friday 'you'll never want for anything'
have to make allowance for the fact that I'm in Ireland and Irish people are incredibly superstitious
I've always been told it's Saturday that's the unlucky day - "Saturday flit is a short sit" my Mum would say. As well as that she didn't want me getting out of hospital on a Saturday after my daughter was born (turned out they kept me in for 10 days so didn;t get out til a Monday but I was pleased cause it was Mum's 50th birthday:)
Guess it depends how much energy you put into your beliefs. I hate the number 13 - my Granny died on 31 October, which was 13 days before her birthday ie 13 November and that year it would have fallen on a Friday so double whammy. My daughter was born at 22 minutes to midnight on 12 May - I was out of it but all I could think was I have to get this baby out out or it'll have birthdays on Friday 13th lol
Lack of luck only comes from believing in it.
It's a bit like the law of attraction. If you truly believe that something will be unlucky then you are likely to make it so.
Luck is what you make of it.
Treat the fact that you wake up every morning as being lucky and you know the whole day can be lucky. Why should it be any different. 😉
