How do you manage to print from your iPad? I have not found a way to do that as yet. I have googled (obviously!) but it does not seem to help me.
Do you use an app for printing from your iPad? If yes, which one?
What is the trick?!
Thanks in advance for any replies

Short answer - you either need an Air Print Printer or you need an app to link what ever printer you currently have. I currently have a Samsung and there is an app - Samsung Mobile Print. With an Air Print Printer you can print direct. With my mobile print app I have to copy to the Clip Board and send it to the printer.

Can you not put the file on a memory stick and then print it from a computer?

Don't think you can connect external devices like that.

On that theme, however, I would use an app that you can transfer data across to your PC eg Mobizen.

If you want to use a computer then you could also simply email the piece for printing.

Sending it via your router?

Thanks everybody for replying.
My husband has a Samsung tablet, he manages to print with his tablet. That trick does not apply to iPad.

My question should have been...for iPad users who actually print from iPad, what app do you use is it a paid one. Do you mind sharing how you do it?
Thanks

I have an iPad. See post above - I copy stuff to Clip Board and send it to my Samsung printer in the room next door.

Sorry can you be a little more specific? What app is it exactly? How do you access the Clipboard?
Saw a YouTube video fro iPad to Samsung printer. Did you have to register your printer with iCloud? And if you did How exactly did you get the email for the printer? Mine is a Kodak printer.

Thanks

Your printer has to support wireless printing I believe? If you hold your finger over the document you want to print, it will come up with options to send the item, save or print.

Yes supports wifi printing. I am at the stage before that though - where the printer and iPad are not calibrated. If you could point at a specific app or link or from the settings of the iPad itself that will enable me to calibrate the two, it will be very helpful

I have never done it myself, but when I just went to the print bit it looked for available printers and found 3 (must be from the offices around me) and gives me a few options. I'm not sure you need another app.
