Just come across this horrible story. Really - what is the matter with these people?
Society can be very sick, it defies belief!
there is a culture at the moment with phones, what ever happens in life they seem to want to take a photo and send it on. I believe that is no respect for privacy in anybodys life. these people should look at them selves and ask would they like a photo of one of their family taken if this was to happen. so sad that this seems to be the way of life now.
Agreed CR. Elements of society have become very voyeuristic and I'm sure have difficulty in seperating what they see in films and videos from reality - not healthy at all. 😮
I know the focus here is on the ghouls who photographed this poor young adult in her dying moments. But I cried as I read the article, because when I see a young life ended like this, and for apparent reasons such as her's, it breaks my heart...
I also saw this yesterday. I wonder how something like this affects the consciences of those who contributed to her coming to the conclusion that this was the only way to escape her pain? The people who bullied her, the ex-boyfriend... The sick, sick people that took photos, well, that I just don't understand...
It must be unbearable for her family, god knows how you move on from something like this.
Truly awful.
I'm sorry to say, but a friend of mine was travelling along the road (on holiday), when they saw her fall. May I add they tried to help and her husband held onto her while she lay dying. This has also traumatised my friend, as sad as it is to hear that this poor young girl took her own life.
Reading this awful story has upset my friend again, as she was unable to help her at the time. It is a real shame that this young girl was unable to seek the help she needed and that she felt this was her only way out.
I find it disgusting that people even think about taking photo's of someone's else's pain, let alone her last few breaths on this earth.
I hope that she can now be at peace, and her pain is gone.
