And in case that's not sarcastic enough, I'm off out to find some young people I can blame for the state of the world today...
Sorry, lost interest........:)
Has anyone else here noticed how people's signatures often seem to say the opposite of what they put in their posts?
I suppose that would be a good topic for a new thread.

🙂
Quite often, kvdp. 🙂
It would be nice if this thread avoided silly political one-down-man-ship. I am truly interested in how people view upper education and how it is paid for. Being from the U.S. where we pay HUGE fees and rack up HUGE debts to go to university, I'm curious about the fuss here to invest in ones own future...

Thanks Scot for trying to steer the thread back on-topic. :045: Any further off-topic posts will be moderated i.e. edited or removed.;)
The thread topic is very interesting so hopefully there will be further valid opinions posted.

I'm afraid I don't exactly know what this means in this case. The original poster has chosen a controversial topic, that by nature cannot be discussed without a lot of disagreement, and requires exploration of many outlying topics to consider the whole background.
So unless this thread is to grind to a halt I'm afraid we'll need to be a bit more clear about which posts aren't pertinent.

Posts such as #47 and #48, for example, which could have taken the thread off in another direction. Glad to see it didn't.:)
